OpenPCS

The OpenPCS programming environment is fully compliant with the IEC 61131-3 standard, i.e. it allows the implementation of the program code in 6 languages:

• Instruction List
• Structured Text
• Function Block Diagram
• Ladder Diagram
• Sequential Function Chart
• Continous Function Chart

OpenPCS is multitasking and allows:

• structured programming facilitated by variable declarations and by the self-recognition of keywords
• online debugging tools and integrated simulation
• tool simplified project management thanks to the project browser

In addition, three function libraries are added in the AsconTecnologic Edition that favor and improve the programming of control strategies:

• Control Library (advanced regulation functions, PID, hot/cold algorithms, autotuning, etc.)
• Auxiliary Library (programmer, calculation of moving averages, calculation of F0, Modbus RTU and TCP communication functions, etc)
• AT I/O Library (configuration functions and access to distributed I/O modules)
